How we research, write and correct

Independence

No platform, broker or exchange pays for coverage, placement, scoring or wording on this site. We hold no affiliate relationship with Firstrade24. Where we cannot verify a claim independently, the text states the limitation.

Sourcing standards

Primary documentation ranks above all other sources: published fee schedules, execution policies, margin terms, security policies and regulatory registers. Secondary reporting is used only for context and is attributed in the text.

Anonymous forum posts, screenshots and unverifiable performance claims are never used as evidence for a factual statement or a score.

Fact-checking

Each article is drafted by one contributor and checked by a second. The checker verifies every numeric claim, every named mechanism and every characterisation of a provider's documentation against the source. Unverifiable statements are removed or explicitly flagged.

Scoring

Platform scores describe disclosure and documentation quality, never expected returns. Each of the six categories is scored 1–5 with a written justification, so a reader can dispute a specific rating on specific grounds.

Scores are reviewed quarterly and immediately after a provider publishes a material change to fees, margin rules or security policy.

Corrections

We correct errors of fact promptly and visibly. Substantive corrections are noted on the page with a revision date; typographical fixes are made silently. We do not remove criticism because a subject objects to it, and we do not remove praise because a competitor objects to it.

What we will never publish

Certain content categories are excluded permanently because they cannot be made compatible with an educational mandate.

• Guaranteed or projected returns
• Affiliate or referral links to any trading provider
• Claims of affiliation with, or endorsement by, any platform
• Sponsored content presented as editorial research
